The BCMCH is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), which was founded under the 'Kerala University of Health Sciences Act 2010' to ensure proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training, and research in Modern Medicine, Homoeopathy, and Indian Systems of Medicine, including Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, and other allied sciences, as well as uniformity in the various academic programmes in medical and allied subjects in Kerala. The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers has also granted BCMCH accreditation (NABH).
Facilities
Emergency
The hospital's 35-bed Emergency Department, which contains triage beds, observation spaces, and a multi-bed Resuscitation unit, sees approximately 3,000 patients each year. This department features fully functional Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support mobile ICUs, staffed by qualified emergency doctors and paramedics who provide important pre-hospital treatment while transporting critically ill or injured patients.
Outpatient
Before the consultation, all patients must complete a one-time registration form. The Registration Office will assign the patient a Unique Hospital Identification (UHID) number. The patient must present their registration card for appointments.
ICU
The hospital has 25 Intensive Care Units for pediatric, neonatal and adult patients.
Operation Theaters
There are ten operating rooms where various surgeries can be performed. Monitoring, volumetric analysis, and HEPA filters are all made easier with the OTs. In 2016, BCMCH performed 8270 procedures, including challenging cases in neurosurgery, orthopaedics, hepatobiliary surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, plastic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, paediatric surgery, onco-surgery, gynaecology, urology, general surgery, ENT, and other specialties. During the same time period, 1254 eye operations were conducted. Along with the surgeons and anaesthetists, the theatre personnel employs over 100 nurses and technicians.

Congenital Heart Disease Management Program
The Indian government is set to launch the congenital heart disease management program Hridayam - for little hearts. Its health department is in the process of signing up MoU with BCMCH to empanel it for congenital heart problem treatment.
Students Life
Wherever possible, freshers should be housed in a separate hostel block; if this is not practicable, the college/institution should guarantee that seniors' access to freshers' housing is tightly regulated by wardens, security guards, and college officials. Because ragging occurs primarily in the dormitories after college courses have ended, a 24-hour vigil against ragging in the hostel premises is required. It has been observed that college canteens and hostel meal halls are frequent hotspots for ragging. Employers/employees of the canteens/mess shall be given the required instructions to maintain tight vigilance and, if any cases of ragging occur, to report them to the college authorities. Wardens will have direct control over and assessment of security personnel stationed in hostels.

Procedure for NEET Seat Allotment in Believers Church Medical College Hospital
Online registration is available
Candidates must register online on the official website using their registration number and password once the NEET results are released. Candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling and, as a result, the seat allocation process once they have registered.
