About Medical College
Thrissur, Kerala, India's Jubilee Mission Medical Institution and Research Institute is a private, non-profit Christian minority medical college, hospital, and research institute. The Jubilee Mission Hospital Trust, a nonprofit organisation under the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur, is in charge of the facility.
History
Jubilee Mission Hospital began as a tiny dispensary on December 17, 1951. The hospital opened in 1952 with four rooms, twenty beds, two retired part-time doctors, and two Holy Cross Congregation nurses. The mission hospital grew to 1750 beds under the leadership of Dr. H.S. Adenwalla and is now a prominent provider of health care services in Kerala.
The hospital was recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in 1971 for internship training of doctors, while the nursing school began in 1966. In 1990, postgraduate medical students began receiving training for the National Board of Examinations. The MCI designated Jubilee Mission Hospital as a teaching hospital in 2003. Following that, the Jubilee Medical College and the Jubilee School of Nursing were established.
Students Life
The medical college annually accepts 100 students for the MBBS undergraduate course based on performance in the national medical entrance exam NEET. The MBBS course consists of four and a half years of academic training, followed by one year of internship as a House Surgeon

About City
Thrissur (formerly Trichur) is a one of the largest city in the central part of Kerala in Southern India. It is known as cultural capital of Kerala, with numerous temples, churches, cultural institutions, art centers, museums etc. The city is most popular for its temple festivals, particularly the annual Thrissur Pooram known as festival of festivals. The city is located in exact geographic center of Kerala.
Thrissur is one of the oldest cities in Kerala. The legend says, the city was the town created by Lord Parasurama (6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu) soon after formation of Kerala, by creating a large Shiva temple. The entire city is formed around the grand Shiva temple known as Vadakumnathan Temple. The city's original name was Thir-Shiva-Perur (Sacred city of Shiva), which got later shortened as Thrissur. The temple is in the center of a mega roundabout that is of 64 acres. This round is known as Swaraj Round and the giant square in front of the temple is known as Thekkinkad Maidan. All roads of Thrissur connect to this.

MBBS Admission Procedure
Procedure for NEET Seat Allotment
Online registration is available
Candidates must register online on the official website using their registration number and password once the NEET results are released. Candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling and, as a result, the seat allocation process once they have registered.
Seat Locking And Filling Options
Candidates must select their preferred medical/dental college as well as the course they wish to pursue. After the options have been filled in the appropriate sequence, they are locked and safeguarded for subsequent actions.
Results of Seat Allotment are Announced
The candidates' filled-in preferences will be sent to be analysed, following which seats will be assigned according to the applicants' preferred order.
Report To The Allotted College
Candidates must report to the colleges assigned to them once the seats have been verified in the third step. If the candidate does not pay the admission fee, the allotted college maintains the right to assign the same seat to the next candidate.
