AMA School Of Medicine was founded by Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V in 2008. It is located in Makati, Philippines. Currently the school has three campuses. AMA School of Medicine applies problem-based teaching methodology, and hands on work such as dissection of cadavers, which increases the students familiarity of the human body. Currently the school offers Doctor of Medicine. 


Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Nursing are offered as pre-med course. ASM accepts students from any part of the globe. Currently, majority of its students are from the Philippines, India, South Korea, Middle East and some countries in Southeast Asia. AMA School of Medicine (ASM) applies problem-based teaching methodology, a learning method that aims to enhance the students' understanding of how parts and systems of the human body work and affect the patient's health condition. 


ASM also allows students to perform hands-on anatomy dissection of cadavers, which increases their knowledge and familiarity of the actual human body. Currently, ASM has 3 campuses in the Philippines including the main campus in Makati. In Northern Luzon, ASM Baguio was opened and ASM Cavite is has been established in Southern Luzon. Also coming soon will be the campus in Mindanao located in Davao City.

The medical curriculum employs various teaching-learning and assessment strategies to achieve the educational goals. As early as the First Year, the students are exposed to cases that would allow them to relate basic science concepts to clinical practice. The first year of the curriculum is designed as modules or blocks based on organ systems with similar or related functions. This instructional plan aims to synchronize topics in Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology. Correlation of selected concepts will be achieved through case discussion in a problem-based tutorial session, team learning and case method activities.

The Second and Third Years of the curriculum are a continuum of organ-based modules that integrate basic and clinical concepts. Problem-based learning (PBL) is a principal teaching-learning activity augmented by correlate activities as lecturers, laboratory exercises and case method discussion. The students in a PBL small group setting (ratio of 1 tutor to at most 10 students) encounter and discuss problems common to practice.

The Fourth Year, which is the final year, allows the students to learn from clinical materials in affiliate hospitals and community settings.

Evaluation of student performance is based on the curriculum design where small group learning is a predominant activity. Assessment includes written examinations, practical examinations, clinical observations, and tutorial or case discussion participation and attitude development.

The Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines, is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. The Philippines (Filipino: Pilipinas) is an archipelago in South-East Asia of more than seven thousand islands located between the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea at the southeastern edge of Asia.

Many wonderful beaches are just part of one of the world's longest coastlines and it would take about 20 years to spend a day on every island. Since Spanish colonial times, the country has been Asia's largest Catholic country. Over a hundred ethnic groups, a mixture of foreign influences and a fusion of culture and arts have enhanced the uniqueness of the Filipino identity and the wonder that is the Philippines.

Climate
The climate is tropical, with March to May (summer) being the hottest months. The rainy season starts in June and extends through October with strong typhoons possible. The coolest months are from November to February, with mid-January to end of February considered the best for cooler and drier weather. Locations exposed directly to the Pacific Ocean have frequent rainfall all year. This includes the popular Pagsanjan Falls southeast of Manila (though the falls will get you wet regardless). The average temperatures range from 78°F / 25°C to 90°F / 32°C, and humidity is around 77 percent. Baguio, which is branded as the summer capital of the Philippines, tends to be cooler due to its being located in mountainous regions with temperatures at night going below 20°C (68°F). During summer, the country experience droughts, sometimes at extreme conditions.

MBBS Admission Procedure

Documents Required for MBBS Admission

  • Valid Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.

  • NEET qualified score card.

  • 10 class mark list

  • 11 and 12 class or equivalent certificate

  • Birth Certificate

  • Bank account statement

  • Police clearance certificate


Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: - 10 + 2 years of education

  • Minimum Age: - 18 years

  • Candidates applying for medical courses must fulfill all the requirements listed in the guidelines of the Medical Council of India ( MCI).


Admission procedure for MBBS

Step 1: Select your desired Medical college from our Registration Page. Fill the online application form and upload the supporting documents as mentioned. (If the college you looking not found please write to us). 


Step 2: Pay your Registration Fees.


Step 3: An offer letter will issue within two business days.


Step 4: Students have to pay their first-semester tuition fees directly to the university after receiving the offer letter.


Step 5: Pay your Documentation and Service Charge Fees.


Step 6: Visa and other documentation can take up to 45 days. When all procedure is over, you can fly to start your dream journey.
