Duy Tân University (Vietnamese: Trường Đại học Duy Tân) is a private research university in Da Nang, Vietnam. The name derives from the Modernisation Movement, or phong trào Duy Tân, of 1906–1908. DTU was established on 11 November 1994, under Decision No 666/TTg, signed by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.

Duy Tan University DTU was established on 11 November 1994, under Decision No 666/TTg, signed by the Prime Minister of Vietnam. DTU offers academic programs that include a graduate two year master's degree, an undergraduate four to five year bachelor's degree, a Junior Technical College three year Associate bachelor's degree and Secondary Professional and Vocational Education two year diplomas.
Duy Tan University has six campuses; four are in the heart of Da Nang city with a total area of 12,000 m² (five campuses of 30 hectares). Situated halfway between the north and the south of Vietnam, DTU is accessible from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon), and other regions of Vietnam by road, rail, and air.
Resolving its strategic objective of international collaboration, DTU has partnered with more than fifty universities worldwide, participated in many well-known international organizations and expand relationships with big international enterprises operating in Viet Nam. These lay a sound foundation for DTU to gain more and more impressive achievements in education and research.
Duy Tan University is located in the heart of sunny Danang, on the Pacific Ocean. The University has steadily developed, sharing its ambition with the city to create a bustling, modern, international metropolis. Founded by the decree of the Prime Minister of Vietnam on the November 11th, 1994, Duy Tan University is the first and the largest private, multidisciplinary and diversified institution in Central Vietnam.

Dedicated for 27 years to providing high quality education to the community, DTU has continually increased the quantity and quality of its people. Currently, there are 1,223 faculty members and staff, of whom 28% hold PhDs, with full or Associate professorships. Several graduated from leading universities in the USA, Russia, France, Germany, Canada, Korea and Belgium. 450 lecturers participated in the “Train the Trainers” courses in the US and another 60 in Singapore.
In Current Academic, in keeping with the motto: “Focus on Humanitarian Education and Research”, DTU grants:
50 full scholarships covering 100% of tuition fees and partial scholarships to applicants signing up for the On-Site Study-Abroad program, in partnership with Troy University and Keuka College, with a total value of 18 billion VND
135 full and partial scholarships to foreign students, and 90 full and partial scholarships to Vietnamese students enrolled in Talented Programs
65 full scholarships to enrollees in the advanced CSU, PSU, CSU and PNU programs, with minimum scores of 23 in the National High School Final Exam
700 scholarships, from 500,000 to 2 million VND each, to enrollees with a three-subject High School Transcript score of 22 or higher
450 DTU scholarships, from 1 to 5 million VND each, to students with outstanding HSGE scores
A 10 to 15 percent reduction in tuition fees in the first year for 550 enrollees in various programs
Students from Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai, Ha Tinh, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa will each be awarded 1 million VND if they enroll in the Embedded Systems, Electrical Automation, Graphic Design or General Nursing programs

IHSM students are coming from different countries with their own distinct cultures, perspectives, and lifestyles. The main goal of the faculty and administration is to help them get accustomed to the new environment. Sometimes simple information about housing, food, shopping, postal and bank services is essential to keep students well functioning.
IHSM provides the opportunity to live in school dormitories and rent apartments. However, we advise to choose dormitory options for students of the first years of studies. Although modern connection capabilities highly depend on internet, postal and courier services they are still important. Many courier and postal services are available to transfer documental and non-documental goods. Along with the well-established EMS postal service, others like DHL, Express have always been available. IHSM students can receive any postal correspondence and any other messages delivered to the IHSM headquarters, which dispatch them safely to the addressees.

Hostel And Mess Facilities available at Duy Tan University Vietnam
University has a very good hostel campus with free Wifi access. Accommodations for students are available as singles, doubles and triples. Additionally, there are separate hostels for women and men. All hostels are furnished with beds, chairs, tables, and other necessary items. Facilities within the campus include a supermarket, a clinic, a pharmacy, etc. The hostel is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. For Indian students on campus, Mess is also available. All students are subject to strict hostel rules. The hostel also serves Indian food.
