IMU accommodation manages around 31 units around the IMU campus area as an option to students. The IMU accommodation service is located at the Vista Komanwel (VK) apartments/Covillea Bukit Jalil condominium, near the IMU campus. The apartment/condominium is within easy walking distance of all teaching and research facilities in Bukit Jalil.
All our accommodation is designed as individual apartment/condominium for students to share. Rooms can be either single room or twin sharing and the students share a kitchen/living/dining area with other housemates. Accommodation is on first-come-first served basis. Accommodation costs range between RM550 – RM1,980 per month, depending on room type.
Each accommodation unit at the Vista Komanwel/Covillea Bukit Jalil comes fully furnished with refrigerator, microwave oven, jug kettle, washing machine and kitchen cabinet, study table and chair, bookcase, single bed, mattress, 6-seater dining table, 2.5-seater lounge set, coffee table, 2-door wardrobe, curtains, ceiling fan in all rooms including living and dining area. Internet facilities are available in the accommodation.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission at International Medical University Malaysia

Candidates must have passed higher secondary examination with Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Admission Process at International Medical University Malaysia

Step 1: Complete the online application provided by the University. or Fill out the course registration form from our website then we will be doing all the below steps .

Step 2: Print out the application. Send the signed form along with the required documents listed below to the university.

Step 3: Scan the documents and email them to the admissions office with a subject line of 'Application for Admission' in the body of the email.

Step 4: Documents can be submitted only until the application deadline. Be sure to submit all documents before the final submission date.

Step 5: After verification of the student's documents by Medical University, the University will send the student the acceptance or rejection letter accordingly.

Step 6: Payment of initial fees should be done once the candidate is accepted. Upon receiving the acknowledgment letter, the student will receive their fee.

Hostel And Mess Facilities available at International Medical University Malaysia
University has a very good hostel campus with free Wifi access. Accommodations for students are available as singles, doubles and triples. Additionally, there are separate hostels for women and men. All hostels are furnished with beds, chairs, tables, and other necessary items. Facilities within the campus include a supermarket, a clinic, a pharmacy, etc. The hostel is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. For Indian students on campus, Mess is also available. All students are subject to strict hostel rules. The hostel also serves Indian food.

The climate in Malaysia is tropical. Malaysia is close to the equator, therefore warm weather is guaranteed. Temperatures generally range from 32°C/89.6 ºF at noon to about 26°C/78.8 ºF at midnight. But like most Southeast Asian countries, Malaysia's sun-shining days are interrupted by Monsoon season from November and February every year, and night temperatures can hit a low of about 23°C/73.4 ºF on rainy days.
Temperatures tend to be cooler in the highlands, with the likes of Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands and Fraser's Hill having temperatures ranging from about 17°C/62.6 ºF at night to about 25°C/77 ºF in the day. Mount Kinabalu is known to have temperatures falling below 10°C/50 ºF.
