The university campus is distinguished by a privileged location in the city of Kafr El-Sheikh, and unique modern buildings equipped with educational capabilities and elements and facilities supporting the educational process, recreational and health facilities, nutrition and accommodation, sports fields, in addition to the green areas, which made it look like a resort Or a tourist park, and a university environment that is friendly to a sustainable environment, stimulating creativity and innovation, and creating hope.
Containing the university nineteen colleges and three institutes graduate, a five scientific faculties of agriculture , engineering , science , Science Fisheries and Fisheries , and Computing and Information and seven faculties of health is medicine and pharmacy and dental dental and treatment of natural and Nursing and the Faculty of Medical and Applied Sciences, This is in addition to the College of Veterinary Medicine .
University also includes six colleges of science is human education and quality of education , and Education Sports and Arts and Commerce and tongues and rights . It includes institutes of scientific both of the Institute of Science and Technology Nanotechnology and the Institute for the discovery and development of medicine and Technical Institute of Nursing. There is a university hospital equipped with the latest medical equipment to provide medical services to all segments of society.
The university is proud of the programs it offers at the undergraduate and graduate levels in many disciplines to develop the skills of the university’s male and female students to comply with the requirements of the labor market, through a strategic plan that focuses on the quality of learning and innovation in research, and enhances the university’s role in community service, and supports research capabilities and interest in research.

Kafrelsheikh University was established Kafr el - Sheikh University Presidential Decree No. (129) in April , age 19 , 2006 AD, and historically the nucleus began faculties of the university Higher Institute of Agriculture in 1957 in Kafr El - Sheikh, and was affiliated to the Ministry of Education of Higher, which was transformed in 1969 to the College of Agriculture University of Alexandria tracking, included college To the faculties of Tanta University when it was established in 1973 AD, and in 1977 the Faculty of Education was established, and in 1985 AD the
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was established and the study began there in 1991 AD, and in 1988 the Faculty of Specific Education was established - it was affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and then it was transformed in 1991 AD by Ministerial Resolution No. 1187 to the Faculty It is affiliated with Tanta University, and in 1992 a branch of the Faculty of Engineering was established, in 1993 a branch of the Faculty of Arts was established, and in 1997 a branch of the Faculty of Physical Education was established.
Despite the university's short lifespan, it was able, with God's help and grace, to take a steady step towards globalization and create a distinctive identity for it, having provided the necessary elements for success. This distinction led to the recognition of the university’s excellence by institutions and bodies whose evaluation is considered, and the university won the title of the best Egyptian university in President Sisi’s competition for the year 2018. The university occupied a distinguished place in the international classifications, including the 601st place in the world in the British Times classification and No. 1 at the local level.
The university also achieved the 151st place in the Shanghai classification in veterinary medicine specialties. The university also achieved the second place locally and Africa at the level of Egyptian universities and the fourth in the Arab world, and 137th globally in the global rankings of "green universities that are environmentally friendly" for the year 2018. In 2019, the university achieved progress in the British Times classification of universities with economic and social impact on society, so it jumped to the 101st place.– 200 at the level of Egyptian universities and the first place at the level of Egyptian universities.
