FAIMER in partnership with ECFMG promotes excellence in international health professions education through programmatic and research activities. ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is a United States body that assesses readiness of international medical graduates from approved foreign medical schools to enter residency or fellowship programs in the United States. 

International Medical Graduates are accessed by their performance in United States Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE).
