Overview of the University
Yangzhou University (YZU) is co-sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Education of China. It is a key comprehensive university of Jiangsu Province, and one of the first authorized to grant both master’s and doctoral degrees. The history of YZU can be traced back to as early as 1902, when its predecessors, Tongzhou Private Teachers’ School and Tonghai Agricultural School, were established.
Based on the motto of being perseverant and self-reliant, YZU’s education features a rich legacy in humanities, advantages in agricultural sciences, integration of sciences and humanities, and a harmonious development of each major discipline. Currently there are over 25,000 full-time undergraduate students and more than 11,000 postgraduate students on YZU campuses, among which over 2,000 are overseas students. Among the 2,300 full-time teachers there are 2 Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
YZU’s 28 colleges offer 121 undergraduate programs, covering the 12 disciplines of philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management science and art. YZU has 3 national key disciplines, 22 first-level doctoral programs, and 47 first-level master’s programs. YZU’s overall competence as well as 7 disciplines, namely chemistry, plant and animal sciences, engineering, agricultural sciences, clinical medicine, material science and computer science, have entered ESI’s top 1% among worldwide universities and research institutions.
YZU has constructed over 50 platforms for teaching and scientific research that are of ministerial or provincial level or above, including a Joint International Laboratory and a Research Center for Regional and Cross-nation Studies, and has set up close cooperation and exchange relations with more than 250 higher education institutions and research institutions in over 50 countries and regions.

Yangzhou University is a comprehensive and key university in Jiangsu Province and one of the top 100 national high-level universities. Located in Yangzhou-one of the country's first batch of historical and cultural cities, it is a joint university built by the People's government of Jiangsu Province and Ministry of Education. Yangzhou University is one of the country's first batch of merging university and doctoral and master's degree granting units. Founded in 1992, Yangzhou University was originally formed by the merger of six schools in Yangzhou. Thus the Medical College was established, its history dates back to 1950. The college focuses on talent training, adheres to morality cultivation, and always take training qualified medical talents as its own responsibility. It promotes the education concept of “good morality, benefiting health and abundant medical resources ", has provided a large number of effective medical and health professionals to the society.

The Medical College currently has 187 faculty members, including 129 full-time teachers, 26 professors, 60 associate professors, 107 PhDs. There are 60 full-time teachers under 45 years old, including 59 PhDs, which accounting for 98.3%. There are also national and provincial high-level young talents, such as “National Thousand Talents Program”, “Jiangsu Distinguished Professor”, “Ministry of Education New Century Outstanding Talents”, “Provincial Double Innovation Plan”, “333 Project”, “Blue Project”,“ Six Talents Peak ” and “ Science, Education and Health Project.

Jiangsu (江苏; Jiāngsū)  is one of the most attractive tourism destinations in Asia and located on a 500-mile (900 km) stretch of the Yellow Sea on China’s east coast. You can “taste” all of the best that China has to offer in the province, from Ming Dynasty walls and tombs to the delicate and fresh Huaiyang cuisine. The wealthiest province in China, Jiangsu is home to the mighty Yangtze River; China’s ancient engineering Wonder of the World in the Grand Canal; the World Heritage Listed Chinese classical gardens of Suzhou; the famous Confucius Temple and Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen in Nanjing; and it’s the best place to see the unique living water villages of the Yangtze River delta. The many hidden treasures of Jiangsu include the Terracotta warriors of Xuzhou; the former residence of Nobel prize-winning American author, Pearl Buck; and endangered species of birds and animals.
Jiangsu is well connected by road, rail and air to the rest of the country and world.
In particular, the comfortable new high speed CRH trains connect Hangzhou and Shanghai to cities in Jiangsu — Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanjing.
Shanghai has many international flights and Nanjing some, including a new direct service to Frankfurt on Lufthansa; both those cities also have many domestic flights. Wuxi, Nantong and Changzhou have airports for domestic flights.
There are also boats along the Yangtze and the Grand Canal.

Minimum Educational Qualification: - 10 + 2 years of education
Minimum Age: - 18 years

Admission procedure for MBBS

Step 3: An offer letter will issue within two business days.
Step 4: Students have to pay their first-semester tuition fees directly to the university after receiving the offer letter.
Step 5: Pay your Documentation and Service Charge Fees.
Step 6: Visa and other documentation can take up to 45 days. When all procedure is over, you can fly to start your dream journey.
