Anhui Medical University is a provincial key university jointly built by Anhui Provincial Government, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor is Private Southeast Medical University founded in Shanghai in 1926. In 1930, it changed the name into Southeast Medical College. At the end of 1949, it moved to Huaiyuan，Anhui Province and became the first higher medical education institution in Anhui Province.

The university was established in 1958 as Xuzhou branch, Nanjing Medical College initially. In 1959, Xinhailian Medical Academy was merged into the branch, which was independent and renamed Xuzhou Medical College in the next year. In 2000, Xuzhou Health Vocational School was merged into the college. With the approval of Ministry of Education, the college was formally renamed Xuzhou Medical University in 2016.

China Three Gorges University is located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, where the Three Gorges Project of the Yangtze River in China is located, the world's hydropower capital, and a famous tourist city in China. It is a comprehensive university with complete disciplines, national enrollment, and distinctive hydropower characteristics.

Originally established in 1956, Zhengzhou University was restructured by the merger of three universities i.e. Zhengzhou University, Henan Medical University, and Zhengzhou University of Technology on July 10, 2000. The purpose of this re-establishment was to create a center of top-notch learning covering a huge range of academic disciplines, equipped with excellent research facilities.

Guangzhou Medical University (GMU) was one of the 45 medical schools which were qualified by MOE to recruit international MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) students in English medium in 2010. Now the university has enrolled over 280 international students from India, Nepal, Pakistan, Tanzania, Bangladesh , China and America, etc.

Shantou University is a comprehensive university in Guangdong Province established with the approval of the State Council in 1981. It is a provincial-ministerial university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Guangdong Province, and the Li Ka-shing Foundation. It is also the only private foundation in the world-Li Ka-shing. A public university continuously funded by the foundation.

In 1933, Donglu University initiated a specialized associate program in medicine and this has ever since evolved and grown into Kunming Medical University (KMU) of today. Kunming Medical University has made remarkable achievements in the area of international exchange and cooperation. It has launched inter-institutional academic partnerships and exchange programs with medical schools.

North Sichuan Medical University is a government-run college of medicine in Sichuan Province and is in the second largest higher education center of Sichuan Province — Nanchong, a famous city, the origin of the Three Kingdoms Culture. Its two campuses occupy an area of over 823,693 square meters.

Southwest Medical University (SWMU)is a full-time institution of higher learning in Sichuan Province. It has two campuses - Zhongshan and Chengbei, which covers more than 2000 mu. It is located in Luzhou city in Sichuan Province -- one of the Famous Chinese Historical and Cultural Cities which is at the conjunction area of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou Provinces and Chongqing Municipality.
